Owner, Co-Founder & Guide
Miriam Hanson Rogotzke
E-RYT 500
Miriam is the Yoga School Program Director for Svälja Yoga School, a lead teacher in both of their 200hr and 300hr Teacher Training Programs, is a specialty trauma-conscious yoga guide, and loves to live yoga in a practice space with other enthusiasts.
A Duluth native, Miriam first started roaming internationally in high school. She settled in Roatan, Honduras for 12 years and built a bilingual elementary school, where she started practicing yoga on a wooden palapa overlooking the sparkling Caribbean Sea. Yoga showed her the way to practice being connected and present. She has been a student in yoga classes all over the world, which has broadened her perspective and complemented her practice.
Miriam embraced her yoga journey through extensive trainings, and now unites her decades of teaching with her love of travel into leading yoga retreats.
Miriam believes in the power of yoga to transform trauma, stress and disconnection to lead us to compassionate self-awareness and joy. She enjoys the fellowship and healing power of yoga, as well as the opportunity to nurture a loving space of breath, movement and discerning awareness.

ROAM is an offshoot of Yoga Yourney, LLC, the yoga passion project of Miriam.
